Our Winter Gritting Solution
At Shorts Truegrit, a key aim of our gritting service is to give you peace of mind by knowing that come freezing rain, snow or ice, your property will be gritted before your customers and staff arrive.
Our quality service begins when you contact us (link to contact us page) for a quote. We then carry out a comprehensive site survey. From this survey we provide a price on a per-visit basis, with no up-front or retaining fee required. We can also provide a risk assessment and a method statement upon retention of our services. Of course, our risk assessment would also include a COSHH report.
As part of our service, we monitor the weather conditions in your area, using a location specific forecast provided by the Met Office, the UK’s leading providers of weather-related services. If there is a risk of adverse weather in your area, we advise you of the potential hazard and then action our gritting teams to make sure that your property or premises is gritted or cleared of snow in a timely fashion.
As well as gritting all traffic and pedestrian routes, we also provide a grit bin hire and filling service.
